Mark Millar is on roll when it comes to movie adaptations – Kick-Ass and Kingsmen are now cinematic franchises, so it’s only natural another one of his properties is picked up by studios
The next hero to hit the big screen is Superior – described as ‘Superman meets Big’.It tells the story of a young boy with multiple sclerosis who is granted one wish. That wish is to be his favourite superhero, Superior.
Millar himself already has his eyes on a certain WWE star to play the titular role. And his name is ….
JOHN CENA!!! *music plays*
Millar told ComicBook.com:
“It needed to be an actor who didn’t take himself too seriously and could do the funny moments as well as the poignant ones,” he added, going on to say that in Trainwreck, Cena is “with four top-of-their-game comedians and he stole the entire movie. He was so, so funny. His comic-timing is just impeccable and he looks very thoughtful too.”
WWE star John Cena has previously starred in Trainwreck, Sisters and Daddy’s Home so he could make a great superhero. Check out the clip below:
